Yes, you will be able to choose the exact apartment you would like to book. Apartments will be sold on a first come first serve basis. If there is a particular apartment you would like to reserve you will need to pay a holding fee to take this off the market.
Our studio apartments come in a range of sizes - standard, medium and large. There are a range of layouts to choose from, and all include designer furniture, and are kitted out with a private kitchen and bathrooms.

Pretty much everything. Well, all the essential utilities: 250mb Wi-Fi, water, heating, electricity and 24/7 concierge. Beyond the bills that are included in your rent, you’ll need to arrange your council tax, as the amount you pay depends on your circumstances. There will be an additional fee for laundry. You can also arrange for optional extras such as apartment cleans - prices for these services can be shared during the booking process.
As well as your furnished, purposefully designed, comfortable apartment, for one monthly fee you’ll also get everything you need to elevate your everyday life right there in the building. You’ll have your own private bedroom (bed with a pocket-sprung mattress), kitchen with built-in appliances (inc dishwasher) and shower room. All our studios come with hardwood floors, blinds and key furniture. As well as access to shared spaces such as our reception entrance, communal living room, fitness studio, and co-working spaces.
Most of the communal spaces can be found on the ground floor. To get moving there’s a state-of-the-art gym. To get things done, there’s a place for co-working, meeting rooms and breakout zones. To relax, there’s a family-style kitchen, dining area, communal lounge, landscaped garden, patio spaces and rooftop terrace. Want to enjoy the communal spaces with friends, guests are welcome.
Absolutely! You can bring your pet with you. We accept cats & dogs. Dogs must be kept on a lead in our communal areas, and cats must remain in your apartment.
Our pet-friendly policy is a maximum of 2 pets per apartment. Dog breed restrictions do apply. For full T&Cs just chat to our team.
Only if you want to! All our flats are private, with your own bathroom and kitchen. Let’s face it, they’re less fun to share. Our communal areas are shared by all residents. These include the fitness centre, workspaces, lounge area and shared kitchen. Our apartments can be shared by more than one person. Just add their information during the application process or let us know, and we can add their details to the contract.
No, there is no parking available at The Altham.
The Altham is located opposite Blackhorse Road tube station on the Victoria Line. Providing you with superfast links across London and beyond.
You're also within a 5-minute walk of St James Street station on the London Overground.
Kings Cross & St Pancras train stations are within a 15-minute journey of your front door. From there you can explore the rest of the United Kingdom and Europe by train.

The Altham will be available to move in to from early 2026. Booking an apartment will be available from Autumn 2025.
As soon as we're open, dependent on apartment availability, you can move-in as soon as the paperwork is complete. Once you have decided which studio flat layout works for you get in touch with the team. References and credit checks can take approximately a week to complete. After all the details have been verified, you can move into the property.
We're not like your usual landlord or estate agent. Unlike an average private rental or lease, we aim to make the booking process smooth and clearly communicate with you throughout.
Our team is here to make your time living in The Altham hassle-free. From parcel collection, to quick maintenance support and cleaning services.
Our concierge team will regularly host events. From Sip & Paint Nights to Wine Down Wednesdays and PT Hiit classes. Regular events are there for you to meet other residents and enjoy The Altham communal spaces together in a relaxed setting.

Ready to move in?
Just like living at The Altham, applying is very easy.
We’re fully booked most of the time but rooms do become available! Message our team to request info about our availability or ask any questions about our listings and someone will be in touch.
We know you can't always plan life so we offer 3, 6 or 12 month contracts.
Once you’ve chosen the right flat and contract for you, you’ll need to pay a £200 holding fee (like a deposit) which is then deducted from your first month’s rent. You’ll then start the application process, including an affordability and credit check. The process can take anywhere from just a few hours to a couple of days.
Once your application has been approved then all you need to do is sign the contract, make the first rent payment and move in.
